Why clean or maintain my tile roof, it comes with a 50 year warranty?

If you do not clean your tile roof, there is little chance that it will actually last 50 years. In the Pacific Northwest it rains for months on end. Constant precipitation erodes the tiles, leading to cracks, and moss and algae growth. Concrete and clay tiles were originally made in climates with fair weather and a 50 year life span was certain.  With rain, snow, hot and cold constantly, severe erosion takes place over the years.

How will TileGUARD benefit in my roofs longevity?

I want my tile roof cleaned, but not with a pressure washer, do you provide this service?

Yes we do! This is the most basic of our services. All personnel is trained and experienced to clean your tile roof without pressure or damaging any of the tiles on your roof.

Can power washing hurt my roof?

Inexperience and high pressure can damage tile roofs. We have used the low pressure, high volume system since 1990. Experience is a must! All personnel go through extensive training to ensure proper methods are used. All they do is work on tile roofs full time. We do not sub contract out any work or have any part time employees to ensure top quality.

I want change the color of my tile roof, is this possible?

Yes it is possible to change the color of your tile roof. TileGUARD has light-fast pigments that penetrate deep into the tile and gives it a beautiful new look , sheen, and layer of protection.

Do you give any kind of warranty on the color of TileGUARD?

Yes! At Tile Roofs Only we are confident in our product and our services and we put it in writing. Upon completion of our services every customer receives a minimum 5 year color guarantee for your piece of mind. For those roofs that are nearing the end of their warranty, coatings can be applied that will give your roof up to 20 more years of use.

Can I just get my roof painted?

Paint will not last on a tile roof for many reasons. Paint has a consistency that is made to sit on top of a surface. On a tile roof, the tile contracts and expands with the cold and heat. Paint sitting on the surface would end up cracking and peeling off in a short period of time. TileGUARD is a specialty product made to seep into the tile itself, so the color and protection will hold and last for 5 to 20 years. This is truly a one of a kind product.
